Ashley May (b. 1984, South Deerfield MA) received an MFA from the University of California, Riverside in 2017 and a BA in Sculpture from Wesleyan University, Middletown CT in 2007.
Exhibitions include: International Print Center, New York; Human Resources Gallery, Los Angeles; the Culver Center for the Arts, Riverside CA; the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts, Lubbock TX; The Riverside Art Museum, Riverside CA; The New York Art Book Fair at PS1; The Los Angeles Art Book Fair at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA; The Shandaken Project, NY; Pioneer Works, Brooklyn NY; The Wassaic Project, Wassaic NY; and the Perfect Wave Gallery, Brooklyn NY.
In 2012 she was a resident artist at the Shandaken Project, NY and the Wassaic Project, NY. In 2015 she participated in the Land Arts of the American West, a field program investigating the intersection of geomorphology and human construction.
